Wildcats open Cap-8 play with big win
New team, new jerseys, same outcome. Millbrook opened conference play with commanding 96-55 road win at Enloe. Debuting new alternate uniforms, the Wildcats got off to a quick start and managed to overcome early energy from the Eagles. Andrew Evans and Robert Brown led the Wildcats in scoring in the first half before giving way to the bench for the game's final 12 minutes.
Brown ended up leading the team in scoring with 18 points, one of 5 players to score in double figures on the night. The reinforcements off of the bench came for the Wildcats and propelled them to victory led by Shase Soto's career high 10 points including a three point basket, and a three point play. Junior Reid Herring made his varsity debut and sunk a long three point shot as time expired in the 3rd Quarter. John Burwell also added 4 points along with Trejon Jacob's 11 points.
