Millbrook kicked off a 3 game homestand on Tuesday night as they welcomed Cap-8 opponent, Wake Forest to town. The Wildcats would move to 8-0 on the season, and 2-0 in the conference. When all was said and done, Millbrook came away with the 96-69 win.
Robert Brown got the Wildcats off to a quick start with 7 of the teams first 9 points. Chris Clemons and Andrew Evans followed with three point baskets, then Faison Brock capped off a 14-6 run with a dunk on the fastbreak.
Clemons led the team going into the half with 15 points, and Evans was not far off with 12, those two would play sparingly in the second half as they made way to players such as Brock, and Junior, Trejon Jacob. The two forwards would finish with a dunk apeice in the second half, and 14 points in the game.
Evans came back into the game late and knocked down a few shots including a one handed slam to cap off his 19 point night. All but one player found the scoresheet on Tuesday as the Wildcats took home the 27 point victory.
