Wildcats win on historic night

There were multiple milestones reached on Tuesday night as Point guard Chris Clemons scored his 1,000th career point and coach Scott McInnes won his 300th game at Millbrook as the Wildcats defeated Wake Forest 86-72 to move to 18-1 on the season.

In need of 28 points to reach 1,000, Clemons came out firing as he entered halftime with a team leading 22 points. He would become the 5th player in program history to reach the mark with a long three pointer in the 4th quarter. Chris joins Robert Brown as the second Wildcat to score his 1,000th career point this season.

The Wildcats are back in action on Friday night as they travel to Broughton for an 8:00 matchup, the game is expected to be sold out and everybody should wear blue.
