Millbrook welcomed East Wake back to town for a rematch of opening night in which the Wildcats were victorious 93-47. Behind 24 points from Robert Brown and Trejon Jacob's six three pointers, Millbrook once again came out on top, this time by a final score of 76-52 to advance to the 3rd Round of the NCHSAA 4A State Playoffs vs. Knightdale.

Brown scored early and often for Millbrook as he took several feeds from Chris Clemons to the basket in the first quarter. Andrew Evans also got in on the fun with a three point play, he finished with 5. It would be Trejon Jacob and the second team off the bench that would steal the show for the Wildcats in the first stanza. Rashad George dove for a loose ball and snuck a pass to John Burwell who found Monte' Harris up court for the layup, Jacob would follow two possessions later with a offensive rebound followed by a step back three. Burwell would intercept the inbound and take it to the hole for the hoop and the harm. Later in the half, Mykel Harris took his team leading 21st charge of the season, moments later, following another Trejon Jacob three, Burwell would hit the 6'5 Jacob in stride for the two handed slam. Millbrook took a 43-33 lead into the half.

Chris Clemons who was cold for most of the night dropped three of his ten points to start the second half as he knocked down a shot from beyond the arc. Faison Brock would save a errant pass from going out of bounds and find Evans who quickly located Brown in the paint for the two handed finish. Coach McInnes looked to his bench following an 18-5 run to start the third and it was Trejon Jacob who once again delivered. He would knock down four more three pointers in the final nine minutes of the game to tie his career high of 20 points set back on November 24th at Knightdale. The Wildcats slowed the pace down in the final minutes of the contest to cruise to the 76-52 victory.
