regionals. Minges Coliseum on the campus of East Carolina was the host of Eastern Regionals six seasons ago in 2010, and the Wildcats fell 59-49 to future NC State star, and current Phoenix Sun, TJ Warren and Riverside. Donzell Hill had 19 points and 12 rebounds in the loss for Millbrook.

The next year the Wildcats found themselves back at Regionals, this time in Fayetteville's Crown Coliseum and it was a rather memorable two games for the 2011 Millbrook team as they pulled an amazing

upset of undefeated Terry Sanford in the semi-final, 47-41 behind DaVon Silvera's 15 points, then in the regional final, the Wildcats knocked off eastern powerhouse, New Hanover to advance to the first and only state championship in the program's history. Junior's Shi'Chee Moore and Karon Blount both had 19 points in the 73-67 win that night.

It was a third straight regional berth for Millbrook in 2012 as they upset Garner in the 3rd Round on the road. Once again, New Hanover stood in the Wildcats way and despite a huge second half comeback, New Hanover was just too much as they went on to win in the final seconds, 42-40. Karon Blount led Millbrook in scoring that night with 13 points, followed by Carlee Clemons' 12.

It wasn't until last season that the Wildcats found themselves back at Regionals. Once again they were at the Crown Coliseum and in the semi-final, the dispatched of Panther Creek rather easily 82-74 behind Chris Clemons' 22 points. With a trip to the state championship on the line in the regional final the next night, Millbrook would just come up short to the eventual state champions in Apex by a score of 63-57. Chris Clemons once again was the leading scorer for the Wildcats but he only managed to muster 12 points in the loss.
